Palm Sunday...remembering this reason.

It is a beautiful day here....it is not possible to look out at the ocean and not know there is a Creator. It is a magnificent sight...beyond words. We took along walk up the beach to a point....it was nice with rocks that makes a barrier so I could enjoy the calm water. We had pool time which was so refreshing. Lunch and dinner in our room...eating up what we have left.....we both got sun burn so no hot pool tonight. This is a wonderful condo resort....safe,secure,and peaceful. There are families but not too much noise from the kids. Tomorrow we head home and await our next adventure. Prayers for a safe smooth flight home.

Charlie and headed to the beach after coffee time...it is a beautiful day today, the ocean is beautiful.

The umbrellas and chairs are all set up...just pick the spot for the day. After noon we went to the pool and met a Mom and daughter from NJ...they were so nice and recommended Danny's downtown. So off we went...takes us about 45 minutes cause Vickie is a slow walker! We had conch fritters and were they ever good. Conch is like a clam, a little chewy, chopped up and was fried in a ball that looked like a hush puppie. After lunch we went shopping for a cigar for Charlie..i love to shop and it is a big mistake to set me loose. I got a pendent of Larimar....a stone only found in the Caribbean...so pretty. We picked up some Local rum for Todd. Stopped in to see Darcy at a local shop and got myself an island ankle bracelet...I look cool.

Long walk back to hotel....exhausted!

 

             

 

Grace Bay Beach ......day 4

'Twas a cloudy day today but I enjoyed watching the churning waves and crazy people willing to drown themselves in the ocean while jumping waves. Charlie rested ..catching up on some tv and naps....after all my hero jumped off a boat yesterday! We both are a little crispy...I love it...I spent today at the beach and the pool, getting crispier!

As always I took more pictures and videos....that is my favorite thing to do.....!

April 8, All roads lead to the beach!

We were up early and off to the beach. Just sitting and enjoying the beautiful water is enough....more people watching and picture taking....we got in the ocean then went to the pool. Charlie got in the hot pool. Later a long walk into town for some shopping and ice cream. The weather is amazing, hot and windy....the breeze feels so good. We had microwave Mac and cheese for dinner. This evening we went to the hot pool then over to the resturant for a little music....yes, we were out after dark! 

April 7. 2014 We have Arrived

We had a good flight here. Only 2 hours and 12 minutes from Atlanta. We were here by 1 PM. We went straight to the beach to see the absolutely beautiful aqua water. It is hot here and very windy. The hotel is very nice and our room is sweet. We have a fridge and microwave. We walked into town about a 4 mile round trip to the grocery store. Food prices are sky high...I will not complain when I get back home. Gas is 6.29 per gallon. Ouch! We are tired and going to bed early. Here are today's pictures.

Countdown

4 weeks to go. I have the suitcase packing started. Also I have been picking up snacks to pack. Got the bug spray! Bugs love me! 

Turks in 6 weeks

6 week to go till we take off for Turks. We are so ready to get out of the cold winter.

I got some new flip flops and I think they will look good on the beach.
